Sin embargo, como parte de una investigación sobre las actividades dramáticas y su importancia en el desarrollo de la autoestima, decidí pasar por alto algunos conservadurismos propugnados en la institución, y llevar al límite la capacidad creativa y lúdica de los niños.
In my few years of pedagogical experience, never it had the oprtunity to experiment with hte theater oh shades and it always asked to me how the children of a traditional school would react before a new experience. It was scared of which the teachers negatively reacted by my audacity to take to the classroom an activity that could cause the overflowing energy that as much fights to appease. Nevertheless as it leaves from my investigation on the influence of the dramatic activities in the development of the self-esteem, I decided to ignore some conservadurismos that frustrate the creativity of the children. At first the presence of a new object and the different atmosphere, caused fear in the children. They entered a space totally transformed. The ample, full hall light and game, was now a totally dark place by the papers and fabrics that transformed the classroom into a species of cavern, with the only presence of a center. Some children were frightened, so was the case of Christian and Ruben, but measured that listened to the indications on the use of the center and the dark space, they were including/understanding what would be all this. Other children did not show much surprise, since they remembered the games with his shades, that do in house. The first activity consisted of which they would observe and would listen to a story with the shades. All were very engrossed with the small silhouettes that projected immense shades. In the second part, some played freely with the shades, and silhouettes that they themselves constructed; others prefierieron to play with their own silhouettes, and the same found greater motivation in other games with elements, different from the proposed ones in the class. Finally, always the objective was fulfilled to motivate and to wake up the creativity of each boy, or with the proposed games or the elements that they found around to them.Probably the reader thinks that the percentage of children whom no of the proposed games made, has not managed to develop some level of greater creativity of those than yes they did, nevertheless, thought more missed, it does not find sustenance when in the classes sigueintes, I observed that each boy developed with skill in the activities and games that motivated their interest and therefore it woke up its physical capacities, psychological and social. To traverse of the theater of shades, opened a door for the free experimentation with materials, atmospheres, colors and emotions; each young one was free to express its individuality, and was from activities like which the children mainly found in the sessions of theater, moments of freedom, organized chaos and of respect and much affectivity among them and the one who play, me.
Why the school is a martyrdom?
I have little pleasing memories of the initial and primary school. Obligation to fulfill a schedule that restricted the smaller breathing or sigh in the morning, violence and insults of companions and teachers, the surprise of a tasteless lonchera that diminished any hunger; in conclusion, my memories of childhood are invaded of situations by which a hyperactive boy is condemned to suffer.
Nowadays the people are inquiring better, of how educating their children, nevertheless, what happens when the school is a place of physical and psychological torture, castrator of initiatives, and booster of defects? The contradiction between the education of the home and the school brings like result, confusion; which still can be solved if the parents are kind of the serious damage that the teachers make their children, and solve to change them of school.
Radical decision, like the change of school, is those that the children need, and I do not say it by resentment or to assume certain cowardice before the problems; but which the Peruvian educative system, is contaminated of a opresora ideology, that conceives the education like a depositaria action of knowledge, fulfilling superficially authoritarian and VERTICAL parameters.
What I have observed in the schools of initial formation and what I have lived in own meat during my childhood, they make me think that any sacrifice by the children, never will be sufficient, because finally as it is educated the boy to him it will form the man.
...
Diego is a very intelligent and cuestionador boy, and to his five years, he meticulously analyzes each act that the others do by him. Its face constantly reflects that always it is on the the defense, frunce the frown when they watch it or when they speak to him; it seems a gentleman of forty years, in the body of an infant.
This was the first idea that I had of Diego when I saw in the initial school; later I found out its own lips, the problem by which crossed.
During the first days that I observed it, it acted like all boy of its age: cuestionador, juguetón and cheer; although always with that serious gesture that characterized it; of a little while another one it began to be more susceptible the reactions of the others, never I will forget that during a game where he did not control his aggressive impulses, I requested to him that it left the hall until calmed, to which I obtained like answer a irreconciliable weeping; it acted as if it had struck it. I requested to him that it was tranquilized, because no longer would leave the hall, and in exchange for that he a little had to be controlled; gradually the weeping and the tense event went away calming.
That same day, at the time of the exit, I listened to Diego to cry very heartbrokenly, I entered its hall, and I found it single, seated in a table; I seated to its side and I asked to him why it cried, and said that it cried because her mother did not come and she never is delayed, I tried to console saying it to him that perhaps it has been delayed making some task in the house. Diego had the face embarrada by his tears and the dirt of his hands, and I took it to the bath to wash the face to him; then it began to tell dram to me familiar that it lived in house. The moments where it left of side that seriousness, he was when it was given completely to the symbolic game, or also called dramatic game, as well as it demonstrates the photo to it (Diego is the boy of blue dress coat).
